LIT- Vegan Organic Jojoba Oil Foundation Serum

As a happily satisfied repeat customer, it’s due time giving this serum foundation the praise it deserves. I’ve tried scores of foundations over the years in all conceivable qualities/price ranges and can attest this ranks right up there with the best, actually outperforming many. My dry skin literally drinks it right up. I greatly appreciate its simplicity in having only a few safe, select and soothing ingredients versus others of its kind listing long confusing strings of questionable contents. This feels to me like skin care, being definitely that and more. I need only a few scant drops to cover my entire face leaving a fresh dewy finish that can either stand on its own (given time to fully sink in) or serve as the perfect base for buffing in some additional mineral powder, a wonderfully compatible pairing that’s now my favorite, leaving a most desirable natural finish. I also find the shades forgiving and adjustable if mixed with other fdtns. For example, I discovered this mixes surprisingly well with MAC face & body for a really lovely, flawless and glowing look. I’ll use and cherish this for as long as it’s available. Noting here as well that the packaging (as of my most recent purchase) has been updated/improved, now making it more user-friendly (just be sure to shake well before using). Lit is my favorite foundation! been a long time client and love her foundation. Once you know your shade, any foundation product can be purchased. I have lit, cream pots, and pressed powder. I love the small pots too because one goes in my makeup bag, the other in my pocketbook!

This is one of the best foundations I have ever used! Having sensitive and acne prone skin, this foundation makes my skin better overtime while adding a natural color and glow and some sun protection. Wear it everyday, thanks for making your amazing products!!

I bought this to blend with the regular liquid foundation in Tan Warm because 1) shade matching, after testing the powder samples, I found a mix of the two seemed to really work (it did); 2) this is a lighter formula, and I wanted to try one. Pros: this is a lighter formula, very nice feeling -- can't wait for summer when I can try this on its own; plays well with other ANF products; GREAT shade match for me (seriously, just wonderful -- one pump of this with one pump of Tan Warm regular foundation and you can't see a difference between this and my natural skin color -- chef kiss!); doesn't break me out (a big problem for me) -- so far it's been very nice to my skin, neither drying nor causing oiliness, hasn't caused clogged pores or rash like pimples (a common problem for me); this one isn't as buildable is the regular foundation, but it is a serum, so that should be kept in mind; the price point is awesome. Cons: the pump does seem to cause a lot of product to come out at once, more than I usually want; there appears to be a bit of a learning curve with application (I suggest a flat foundation brush or your fingers, blender sponge is just ok); it does separate with time (the directions say to shake it and they mean it!) so you need to be careful to do so -- it is a serum after all. I'll withold more judgement on its wear rate until summer -- so far it's held up really well (there is some wear off, but if applied correctly it seems to age well and just melts into the skin rather than getting gunky or flaky) -- longest I've worn it is 9 hrs, which really is about max for any foundation (I don't care what anyone tells you; they all wear off over the course of the day to some extent -- anything that doesn't probably isn't letting your skin breathe enough), but summertime is the true test of any foundation for me (I'm outdoors most of the time, so foundation really gets taken through its paces).

Very good product

Since I've been making the switch to safer products for my face, I've been trading out a lot of my favorites for healthier alternatives. For me, this foundation works a bit like a BB cream or a tinted moisturizer, which is perfect for everyday use. It doesn't provide super thick coverage, but that's not exactly what I was looking for. It moisturizes and illuminates the face. It feels amazing to put on, and a little does go a long way. Per the instructions, make sure you give a good shake before use.

Wow Wow and WOW!! This is the BEST!! I've only been using it for a few weeks and already people I see all the time are asking me what I'm doing different!! It tasks so very little, goes on on silky smooth and covers perfectly! Looks like I don't have makeup on!! Which for me is the goal...

I loved the product. I would feel more comfortable with a little more coverage, but it feels fantastic and I received compliments on my skin! Great product!

Kudos for a truly wonderful foundation. It's moisturizing without being too greasy, it has buildable coverage, and best of all, it's free of nasty ingredients. It lasts all day for me, and my first bottle lasted more than 6 months, so it's economical too. I use it with the Age Defying Extracts Daily Moisturizer. My color is Almond Goddess and my skin tone is fair and neutral tones.
