A product with an SPF has to be tested as a drug and sold as an OTC. We are not claiming an spf. Instead we are going to give you an education on what sunblocks and sunscreens are then you can make an educated choice.
SUNSCREENS are chemicals and are classified as drugs by the FDA because they are "intended to protect the structure and function of the human integument against actinic damage."
SUNBLOCKS are generally physical in nature (ours are physical) and contain inorganic materials such as Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide. There are chemical sunblocks out there too so make sure you read the labels! Sunblocks absorb, reflect and scatter up to 99% of both UV and visible light and act as a barrier between your skin and the sun.
So Sunblocks reflect or scatter UV radiation before it reaches your skin and are a physical barrier to the rays. Sunscreens are chemicals that work by absorbing the energy of UV radiation before it affects your skin.
SUNBLOCK can be applied over old sunblock and it is effective.
SUNSCREEN can not be applied over sunscreen and be effective. It must be washed off and reapplied.
How much protection will I get from this product?
Well the active ingredient in this is micronized zinc. Yes, it is micronized..yes, yes .but do you want skin cancer or micronized zinc, or chemicals? The micronized zinc is how you get the most effective coverage and and no white noses! This contains 22% percent zinc. The maximum you can use is 25% so multiply 22 x 2 and you get 44.
Purified Water, Glycerin, Organic apricot kernal oil, olivem 800 ( emulsifier), Zinc Oxide, Cosmocial CQ (mild preservative), potassium sorbate(food grade preservative), scerlotium gum

safest out there
Can't say enough about this product. Used it all summer long. No burns and we're a fair skin family

Perfect for dayly use
This lotion is a great deal for daily use and will protect your skin perfectly from sunburn. However, I do not recommend using it for a long beach day or for when you are for prolonged time in the sun. Even after re-applying several times being under an umbrella I got a severe sunburn at the beach.

good for oily skin
i spray my skin with rose water and apply it soon after, and it sinks in almost completely. it doesn't clog my pores. and it is moisturizing so i don't need to apply anything underneath it. really, really good!

best natural sunblock :)
i've always hated sunblock - the smell, colour, feel on the skin, and how it leaves white streaks all over. but absolutely love this sunblock, it's amazingly smooth to apply, unscented and leaves my skin feeling moisturised, protected yet not heavy in the least bit. am using this every single day!

Absolutely perfect.
I have very fair skin and never a trace of sunburn when using this product. It is cost effective and really works. I purchased 5 small bottles as gifts for friends and they all love it. Thanks.

It really works!
I love this no sun lotion! It really works! it's not waterproof but it's a nice sunscreen to use daily. Good texture, easy to spread, not too thick nor liquid. Unscented. Very nice.

Kind to skin sun protection
I have been using this product for a few years now and my skin is ageing well. It never hurts my eyes or smells bad and gives my skin great protection from the sun. I love knowing it is made from natural, excellent ingredients that help moisturize as well as protect.

Been using this sunscreen for years
Love how you can wash it off, reapply, and it's not too sticky on the skin like sunscreens/sunblocks.
