Lotion is mostly water, and it starts to evaporate as soon as you put it on. Oil on the other hand starts to sink in immediately. Coconut oil has a melting temperature of 76°, and you have a body temperature of around 98°. So, as soon as it hits your skin, it starts to melt. As this oil is organic and unrefined, it smells like naturally delicious coconuts.

This oil sinks right in. It stops feeling greasy within a few moments of putting it on. I keep jars of this in every room in the house and a big one in the shower! I use this to shave with, and then before I get out of the shower, I apply it all over my body. I am baby soft as soon as I get out!

Coconut oil is noncomedogenic, in other words, it does not block pores. It is also an excellent hair conditioner. Use on your hair overnight or apply pre-wash. Don't apply a lot; a little is all you need. It is also anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antifungal. When it gets warm, the coconut oil will be more liquid and when it is below 76°, the coconut oil is a solid. Keep it in the fridge to keep it as a solid.

    While pregnant I got really bored by almond oil, plus my husband didn't like its perfume. My problem was 100% solved by this coconut oil, perfect for breast and belly as it softens the skin and leaves it elastic. It also surrounds me with a perfect coconut smell, which I love (and my husband, too).

    I love all of the products. The coconut Oil has really helped my skin and I think it has diminished some of my aging spots. I also love the cost! Totally in my budget and natural, it is truly a win win!

    6 stars for it because it is an essential beauty treatment for natural girls. use it on dry skin spots, hair, it can moisturize everything! this in particular is very cheap but high quality.

    It's a genuine coconut oil for a good price. Coconut oil is the miracle oil : great for my dry skin, great for my hair and even great for oil pulling (washing the teeth). I live in Martinique (French West Indies) and the shipping prices are AMAZING.

    I love this oil. Not I put them after 100% Aloe lotion. I used olive oil and Jojoba oil but This oil absorbs into the skin and not oily. Best oils ever.I already reordered!

    I re-ordered this after my initial kit purchase. It is just the right moisturizer, not too heavy and not too light. Makes my face nice and soft without added oil.

    I had recently read in a magazine that virgin coconut oil is the new rage for celebrities so when I saw this, I had to try it. I put it on after I use the face food cleanser and toner. It gives just enough moisture that it doesn't leave a greasy residue on my face. I almost wish it was a little more moisturizing after it soaks in. It smells awesome too.
