Lotion is mostly water, and it starts to evaporate as soon as you put it on. Oil on the other hand starts to sink in immediately. Coconut oil has a melting temperature of 76°, and you have a body temperature of around 98°. So, as soon as it hits your skin, it starts to melt. As this oil is organic and unrefined, it smells like naturally delicious coconuts.
This oil sinks right in. It stops feeling greasy within a few moments of putting it on. I keep jars of this in every room in the house and a big one in the shower! I use this to shave with, and then before I get out of the shower, I apply it all over my body. I am baby soft as soon as I get out!
Coconut oil is noncomedogenic, in other words, it does not block pores. It is also an excellent hair conditioner. Use on your hair overnight or apply pre-wash. Don't apply a lot; a little is all you need. It is also anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antifungal. When it gets warm, the coconut oil will be more liquid and when it is below 76°, the coconut oil is a solid. Keep it in the fridge to keep it as a solid.

Fabulous gentle moisturizer
I haven't been able to use any kind of moisturizer on my chest and neck since I got rosacea ten years ago. Every cream and lotion broke me out, even sensitive-skin formulas. This yummy smelling organic coconut oil doesn't break me out! It's amazing - melts in my hands, sinks right in, leaves my skin feeling soothed and soft, and I can use it every day after the shower with no bad effects on my skin. Only nice ones! :)

keep it handy
Love this stuff. I use it on my hands & feet - & sometimes as moisturizer at night. It's also great for my dog. He loves having it rubbed into his skin & a teaspoon or so to eat. All articles I've read say this is good for dogs. They want me to review all I've bought & all I can say is good things about their products. I still use products from other companies (skincare/makeup). But i would say 80% is from the all natural face. I love this company

I use this as a moisturizer and it is by better than anything else I've used for dry hands, feet, and elbows. I also use this as an eye makeup remover. The uses for this product are endless I love this product!!

Fantastic coconut oil!!
I'm a tough critic when it comes to coconut oil. Honestly, for the price I was a bit leery. But after using it once, I was convinced. This is high quality oil! Great for facial, body and hair use! My doggies have terrible allergies and I give them coconut oil when their skin acts up. But it has to be super high quality oil in order for me to feel comfortable doing so. After using this oil on my skin, there was no doubt! Mine AND my poochies' skin and coiffe have never looked better!

High quality, highly moisturizing, great price
I use this on damp skin, it sinks right in and is highly moisturizing. A little goes a long way and it's very fairly priced. It smells so good you want to eat it, and would be safe to! :-)

Best all-purpose moisturizer
I was excited to see 100% coconut oil on the ANF website. I had tried and loved the same product by RMS. I realize that 100% means 100% but the cost difference between ANF's coconut oil and the RMS stuff made the think there *had* to be a difference. Nope! It is great and perfect for everywhere. I use the coconut oil everywhere -- from my lips to my toes! Also, the faint coconut smell is fab, and it doesn't interfere with other fragrances. I will be purchasing more as soon as I submit this review.
