You will get approximately 25-30 baggies of foundation for $4.60 plus shipping! You will receive 1/4 teaspoon of each color, a tip sheet for finding the right shade, and a tip sheet for applying mineral cosmetics. This will help you to choose the color that is right for you. Since we have 51 shades..we will have your shade. the colors arent right and you want to try a few more..try a few more samples! We have 51 shades to choose from! Cant have too many choices! Our minerals are mostly micas with a tiny bit of titanium dioxide zinc oxide and boron nitride with oxides for color. This listing does not include a kabuki. When you are trying out the colors .you might want to put them on a paper plate so you can fill your brush adequately! When applying mineral makeup you want to tap your brush before applying and then apply in circular motions. This mineral makeup can be applied wet as well. please choose range:Pale to Medium or Medium toDark
If you are getting this sampler to find your color in a cream or liquid foundation add a little lotion to the powder to get the right color. When we make the cream or liquid it darkens the pigments slightly...so you could go down a shade shade from the powder. This is not always the case however, so try this before ordering the cream or liquid foundations:)

WOW!
So, I'm in between, and decided to get both color kits. WOW! It was so overwhelming! There are SO MANY COLORS! So, I guess I kind of cheated. I started with the color of my current makeup and went from there. I was not the exact same color in TANF as Colorstay, but close. This helped me to find my exact match. AND they gave you enough makeup in the kit to use for a couple of days! Which I was VERY happy with because I found out that I LOVE powder foundation! It covers SO much better than I ever dreamed it would! AND you only have to use the powder and nothing else! Which this will save me money in the long run since I don't have to buy liquid foundation and the pressed powder to go with it! Thank TANF!! I'm in LOVE!!!!

perfect way to find the best shade
I'm always wary of buying makeup in retail stores due to the lighting. Getting a variety of options that I could use in normal lighting to test was wonderful. The instructions proved most helpful as I found a shade that truly disappeared when tried.

Wonderful foundation! "Porcelain Goddess" sample skimpy
This foundation is fantastic! When I first applied the powder, my initial thought was that it seemed "creamy." It also has great, buildable coverage; you can pretty much wear it as sheer or as full as you would like. I would say it is just as good, if not better, than the expensive Alima mineral powder that I have been using for years! Plus, the shade range is fantastic (almost TOO fantastic-- the vast majority of the colors I could never use, not even for contour-- though I did discover Ivory Rose makes for a wonderful, natural blush). My only disappointment was that I was given VERY little of the shade "Porcelain Goddess," which after testing it today, seems to be my closest match. I was given enough for multiple applications of ALL the other shades, but the amount I received for this particular shade was not even enough for one full face application. I am not sure if this was an oversight, but it was a bit disappointing. I would have liked to test it a bit more to make sure it is in fact my best shade. Of course, this is not enough to turn me off of the brand-- I will still certainly be making a full sized purchase. But I hope in the future that perhaps whoever is putting the packages together will ensure all bags are filled with the same amount. Other than that, my experience with this foundation was great. I excited to order my full sized powder :)

Nice!
I was pleasantly surprised at how well this powder covered and blended as my skintone tends toward reddish. It ended up being not too yellow or too dark. I chose porcelain rose, and plan to buy the full size in that shade.

Great Variety!
I'm super pleased with the variety of shades. The photo's are true to color, and my guess for my shade was off by one.(I had to go a shade lighter) However, I'm sort of upset all those other shades will go to waste. This powder is light and gives a nice amount of coverage, but with my dry skin, it settles onto my dry patches by the end of an 8-hr day. I'm super excited to try their cream foundation for that reason.

Found my match! -- Love it!
I ordered the light to medium foundation sample kit. It came with around 26 different shades, as well as enough sample of each shade to test it for a couple days. I found my perfect shade and made a full sized order about a week later! Feels so good on my skin! And my face hasn't broken out almost any since changing to this foundation powder!

I bought this product in medium to pale to help me figure out what shade of cream foundation I should buy. It was a bit overwhelming at first because some shades were very close but I ended up finding the perfect shade, olive warm and olive pale as a concealer. I also found that this sampler is good at demonstrating the great coverage the powder foundation gives!
