I really am finding I prefer the less expensive sponges to those costly ones - I think they work better.

I've used this applicator sponge dry, slightly damp, and very damp; with cream, liquid, and powder cosmetics. The drier the sponge, the thicker the application; the damper, the more smoothly it applies. It can be used to dab, rub, roll, etc makeup on. You can use the fat rounded end for full-face application, the concave curves for rolling/blending, and the pointed end for precise applications like around the eyes and nose. Lots of options to find the perfect application combination! :) I mostly use this for the cream foundation and concealer, but then I use the pointed end to "bake" my face under my eyes with powder, and also for placing cream highlighter. It blends beautifully, has a great texture, never leaves any marks on the face, doesn't "eat" the makeup (most gets on your face, only a little bit is left on the sponge), is extremely durable, and SUPER great low price! Who wants to pay over $30 for the name brand "beauty blender?!" Slight downfalls: tough to clean, and takes a while to dry. Also, do NOT get any mascara or eyeliner or anything dark on it, it's nearly impossible to get out!! The pros heavily outweigh the cons. I plan on buying more so I can eventually have one for each cosmetic I apply with it. I've recommended it multiple times to friends and strangers alike, and will continue to do so! :)

It took me a couple of times to get used to using this sponge as I have never used anything like it before. Now that I have the hang of it, I love it. It's design helps evenly spread my foundation all over my face, especially in those small creases around my nose and under my eyes without caking. I really like this sponge!

Great sponge for foundation makeup application. Why pay for a Beauty Blender when this works so well?!

Love this sponge! I've never used any type of applicator for applying foundation before. This allows the foundation to go on so easily and can be built up if you want. The flat side and contoured side assures covering every nook and cranny you have. It's easily washed out with water.

What can I say... it's like using a moist cloud to apply your foundation! Don't use it dry... watch a couple tutorials. Gives a perfect air-brushed, yet natural finish. I use it to apply cream foundation, powder foundation, even bronzer, highlighter and blush.

I'm preferring using this sponge over a foundation brush for applying liquid foundation. Liquid blends easily when using sponge in a dabbing motion. Just having trouble keeping it clean. Any tips ??
